The writing is fantastic and the art is great, a really enjoyable read。 The writing is good in one definable area, character development。 This is especially evident with the villains who are given enough page time to really develop and explain their motivations。 This is difficult as villains can easily become one dimensional, especially in a comic as old as Flash。 The other part of writing is the story arcs。 The main arcs were great and I always enjoy things being set up, and having the payoff m The writing is fantastic and the art is great, a really enjoyable read。 The writing is good in one definable area, character development。 This is especially evident with the villains who are given enough page time to really develop and explain their motivations。 This is difficult as villains can easily become one dimensional, especially in a comic as old as Flash。 The other part of writing is the story arcs。 The main arcs were great and I always enjoy things being set up, and having the payoff much later。 Really liked Vol。 1, bring on Vol。 2! 。。。more

I like how this large volume is really one long story which continues into the 2nd volume。 Events that happen in the first few issues come back around and tie into one large, overarching story。 A great start to Geoff Johns run on The Flash。

Geoff Johns。 This man is a genius。 I bought this omnibus for Christmas and I just finished it。 I got to say。 Everything matters。 Every arc, every issue。 It leads up the the big conclusion in the Crossfire Arc。 I loved his first half of his Wally West run。 I will definitely look forward for the second volume。

The Scarlett speedster, where to begin with this omnibus。 It’s presented well with a great dust jacket and nice wrap around cover。 The artwork is fantastic and carries some average comic issues。 I did enjoy the omnibus which does have some great issues however, there are some average issues and some that I wasn’t clicking with。 It took me a while to get through it, I put it down between 200 and 300 pages but after a month or so I wanted to power through to see if it could change my mind and it d The Scarlett speedster, where to begin with this omnibus。 It’s presented well with a great dust jacket and nice wrap around cover。 The artwork is fantastic and carries some average comic issues。 I did enjoy the omnibus which does have some great issues however, there are some average issues and some that I wasn’t clicking with。 It took me a while to get through it, I put it down between 200 and 300 pages but after a month or so I wanted to power through to see if it could change my mind and it did I enjoyed the last half of this omnibus a lot。 I like wally west much more as a character now and there is good character development throughout。 I recommend if you are huge into the flash or want to learn about Wally west and more than the man behind the mask, however the fight scenes/ battle scenes for me are very short I feel like there’s a lot of building and in a majority of issues not a lot of payoff for reading。 。。。more

Early Geoff Johns stuff, a little rough around the edges, but it does get alot better in the second part of the omnibus, i am not a big fan of sulerheroes in medieval settings, it doest work for me, and this one started there。 The Rogues gallery has a huge part here and i dig that。 Hear the second omnibus is way better, i will be there to read it。

When Geoff Johns took over The Flash in 2000, he wrote Wally West that is so relatable, the journey of reading became some thing that comics is just for kids alone, but it is for adults。 I love how this run turns out, second to Mark Waid's before him。 With artwork by Scott Kollins, Wally West's The Flash is a great read that really is a turning point for the speedster, its also a seriously well written read that I feel everyone should pick up and read。 This omnibus version, is considered the cor When Geoff Johns took over The Flash in 2000, he wrote Wally West that is so relatable, the journey of reading became some thing that comics is just for kids alone, but it is for adults。 I love how this run turns out, second to Mark Waid's before him。 With artwork by Scott Kollins, Wally West's The Flash is a great read that really is a turning point for the speedster, its also a seriously well written read that I feel everyone should pick up and read。 This omnibus version, is considered the correct reading order for anyone who wants to buy。 I highly recommend it。 。。。more

I can't say enough good things about Geoff John's run on the Flash。 He brought the rogues to prominence who before this were fun but not very serious villains。 This is a must read for anyone interested in the Flash。 Hopefully the rest of the run gets reprinted in a second omnibus as the original 3 omnibus have been out of print for years。 I can't say enough good things about Geoff John's run on the Flash。 He brought the rogues to prominence who before this were fun but not very serious villains。 This is a must read for anyone interested in the Flash。 Hopefully the rest of the run gets reprinted in a second omnibus as the original 3 omnibus have been out of print for years。 。。。more
